Privacy Policy
round-table (the "service", at roundtablemeeting.app) runs meetings between AI personas and you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else handles it. Questions: hello@roundtablemeeting.app.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, display name, and, if you set one, a password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash (argon2id), never in plain text.
- Sign-in with Google or GitHub: if you use it, we receive your name, email address, and account ID from that provider. We do not receive your Google or GitHub password, and we request no other access.
- Meeting content: the messages you write, the AI replies, your saved teams, and your settings (such as theme and model choices).
- Session data: a login cookie so you stay signed in, and a short-lived cookie used only during Google or GitHub sign-in.
- Usage and logs: credits used per meeting, and standard server logs (such as IP address and request times) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To run the service: sign you in, run your meetings, save them so you can reopen them, send account emails (verification, sign-in links, password resets), prevent abuse, and fix problems. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.
Who else handles it
- AI model providers: to generate replies, meeting messages are sent through OpenRouter to the provider behind each persona's model (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others). Those providers process the content under their own policies. Do not put information in a meeting that you would not want shared with them.
- Railway hosts the service and stores its data.
- Resend delivers account emails.
- Cloudflare provides DNS and forwards mail sent to our addresses.
- Google and GitHub, only if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Who can see your meetings
Your meetings and teams are visible only to your account. We access stored data only when needed to operate the service, investigate abuse, or respond to a request from you.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page; this removes your account, sign-in links, meetings, and teams from our database. Copies may remain in backups or server logs for a limited time before they expire. Data already sent to AI model providers is subject to their retention policies.
Your choices
You can change your name, email, and password, unlink Google or GitHub, sign out of all devices, or delete your account from your Profile page. For anything else, such as a copy of your data, email us.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For significant changes we will let account holders know by email.
